Tony's Chocolonely Sustainability Report

Tony's Chocolonely is a Fair Trade Dutch chocolate company, raising awareness about extremely dangerous and unfair practices many other chocolate companies engage in. Their goal is to make "100% slave free the norm in chocolate."

Tony's has extremely strong branding, so the goal of this project was to match that, while also creating unique visuals that support their very meaningful work in the chocolate industry.

Keeping with their hand made/paper cut aesthetic, I chose to feature their most defining characteristics: the typography of their logo and labels, the uneven pieces within the chocolate bars, and the intense coloring on both their website and products. Applying these helped me to develop a book that simultaneously felt very "Tony's," while making sure the emphasis was not taken away from their misson.

Illustrations created in Adobe Illustrator, layout and typography done in Adobe Indesign.
